The Standard Horizon GX1850B 25W VHF radio and SSM-70H wired remote access microphone form a versatile marine communication system. The GX1850B radio replaces the popular GX1600/GX1700 Explorer models with a rugged IPX8 waterproof design and easy-to-use interface. It provides 25 watts of power for reliable communication and integrates with NMEA2000 marine networks for connectivity. The radio also enables a second station remote mic for convenient access from a separate location. Paired with the radio is the SSM-70H RAM4 wired remote microphone. Its 2.5” LCD screen gives you control of volume, squelch and other radio functions right from the mic. An interconnect cable is included for quick setup. With its combination of long-range transmission, network integration, flexible control and waterproofing, this Standard Horizon bundle is ideal for powerboats, sailboats and yachts.
